Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians saw the return of Lamar Odom after he spent weeks in the hospital and rehab therapy. The former NBA star traveled with the famous family to New York City to support Kanye West at his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show.
It
marked Lamar’s first public appearance since he was first hospitalized
in October 2015. Lamar felt he owed it to the rapper to support his new
line and album.
“Kanye saved me,” he told his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, during the episode.
Yeezy
played his new album for Lamar while he was recovering and the
basketball pro has partially attributed the music to his recovery. Later
in the episode, Kourtney Kardashian asked if Lamar had visited heaven.
He
replied that he had “real in-depth dreams with people who passed on,”
and Khloe added, "I think he went to Heaven from the conversations he
has with me."
Despite
all Lamar’s been through, Khloe noted that she’s concerned that her ex
isn’t taking the situation as seriously as she’d like him to.
“I
kinda want him to be a little more afraid," she said. "Bad things can
happen if you go back to that life. This is, like, a second chance."
As for rekindling the romance, Lamar seemed all for it when Kris Jenner brought up the topic during Sunday’s show.
“I’ll say my prayers,” he replied when teased about getting back with Khloe.
His
former bride seemed less enthusiastic, saying that if they ever were to
get back together, she wanted to go ahead with their original divorce
first.
“[Our marriage has] been a little tainted ... we need to cut our ties, and we can figure it back out," she said.
