Meghan Trainor's new video for "Me Too" was
released Monday (May 9) but there was at least one important person who
was not happy about that -- Trainor herself.
The singer took the video down later that day,
telling her followers on Snapchat that "They Photoshopped the crap out
of me and I'm so sick of it and I'm over it so I took it down until they
fix it."
Trainor continued, "My waist is not that
teeny, I had a bomb waist that night -- I don't know why they didn't
like my waist, but I didn't approve that video and it went out for the
world, so I'm embarrassed."
She said she told the parties responsible for
the video -- presumably her label, Epic Records, and the video's
production team -- to fix it immediately. She had a New York City
viewing party scheduled for Monday night at the Hard Rock in Times
Square that night, which seemed to still be on.
"The video is still one of my favorite videos
I've ever done, I'm very proud of it," Trainor said. I'm just pissed off
they broke my ribs, you know?"
Billboard has reached out to Trainor's rep for comment, but had not heard back at time of publishing.
