With Mother’s Day just around the corner on May 8, there’s no better time to reflect on our fave celeb moms who seem to do it all. From Beyonce to Adele, these fabulous women are THE definition of grace, strength, and success — talk about inspiring!
Introducing the 50 Most Powerful Moms list! Compiled by Working Mother magazine, the list includes some pretty impressive names such as Queen Bey herself (Beyonce, 34), Adele, 27, Kerry Washington, 39, and Melissa McCarthy, 45, just to name a few. Check out the list below and tell us, did your favorite celeb mom make the cut?
“There’s no stopping this force of nature—every time she sets a bar, she scales it with her next accomplishment,” Working Mother
wrote of Beyonce for their list of Most Powerful Moms. “As a
businessperson, she’s never at a loss for ways to add to her revenue
stream.” The article even added that in 2015 Beyonce earned a
casual $250 million. Wow! And we all know how much she slayed — and is
STILL slaying — with Lemonade. The woman is seriously a goddess!
Adele, not surprisingly, was also included on
the list. And it’s not hard to see why! Another singer, the star was new
to the annual list, but she definitely earned her spot nonetheless.
There’s no question Adele rules the charts and she has the ability to
appeal to ALL age groups. Even better? She boasts last year’s world’s
best-selling album, 25, which was her third best-selling album in a row.

Joining Beyonce and Adele, Kerry, who’s actually pregnant with her second child right
now, was a great addition to the already impressive list. “Kerry’s
gusto extends well beyond the parameters of a camera shot,” the magazine
wrote about the Scandal star.
And while that is very true, in 2009 she was appointed by President
Barack Obama to the President’s Committee of the Arts and Humanities,
her greatest role is by far motherhood. “Even though Olivia Pope has
obviously made the decision that she is not a mom, playing her made me
feel like I could be a mom,” the actor revealed her Scandal
character. “Because she knows there’s always another way—there’s always
a way to fix it, there’s always a way to solve it, to win. And I feel
like playing her made me feel like, ‘All right, I can do it. I will
figure out how to juggle it all.’”
Another one of our favorites who made the list
was Melissa — who’s managed to master the art of comedy to a tee! On
both big and small screens, Melissa even manages to write and produce as
well as act. The talented star, who’s also designed her own fashion
line, admits to being a protective mom at heart though. “I’m very mama
bearish, and Ben always says, ‘Oh God, please don’t let an older kid say
something to our girls and you hear it.’ I do fear scaling a fence, and
being like, ‘What?!’ Which I know would be terrible. My girls have to
learn to speak for themselves, but I’d be slightly horrified to see what
I would do,” the actress revealed.
