Yolanda Foster, 52, couldn’t hold back when she found out that Rebecca Romijn, 43, had seriously dissed her daughter, Gigi Hadid, 21, and her best friend, Kendall Jenner, 20. When Rebecca tried to backtrack on saying that Gigi and Kendall aren’t “true supermodels,” Yolanda decided to throw it back in her face on Twitter! Click through to see her serious slam!
“Kind, hard working and they accomplished more
at half your age in the fashion industry ,” Yolanda tweeted in
response to a tweet from Rebecca which read, “hey don’t believe the .
Never talked smack about you. Both amazing & beautiful.” Rebecca’s
tweet was super sweet, but apparently Yolanda wasn’t buying what she was
selling!
Burn! Yolanda is fighting back at Rebecca for her very candid remarks on ET on Tuesday, April 26: “I know a lot of people — legitimate fashion people — can’t stand it,” Rebecca said during her interview. “Hate it that these, you know, social media stars are now the supermodels in fashion. They are not true supermodels.”
She’s of the belief that Kendall and Gigi have only gained success in
the fashion world for being famous on Instagram. “No one has proven yet
that numbers of followers translates to revenue,” Rebecca said. “So it
is frustrating.”
There’s no doubt that Kendall and Gigi are real supermodels, who have been doing incredible, fabulous work. And if anything goes wrong, the girls know that Yolanda has their backs!
