@deejayfaremi,”Nigeria is a serial killer. RIP to everyone that dies in this country everyday due to our lack of respect for human safety and lives, negligence, ineptitude, and sheer wickedness.”

@Bubesinn, ”PrayForNigeria alone can’t solve the problems we have. The Tanker tragedy at #OtedolaBridge in Lagos yesterday is one of the many things this nation overlook.@AsoRock itself just send their condolences and that is the end of it. May we not end up as slaves in our own land.

”Indeed a very sad day, a tragedy that could be avoided but some people care more about their pockets & how to stark money in their foreign bank accounts. God help our dear country & may the soul of the departed ones rest in peace#OtedolaBridge #NigerianLivesMatter.

@forgiv,”The tanker issue didn’t start today, it has happened in Mile 2, Iyana Ipaja, Festac, Ijanikin; the tanker fell off and set properties and vehicles ablaze. A few days ago at Ojuelegba, it happened, so this is not a religious matter. It is pure laxity.”

@KathleenNdongmo,”Too many tragedies in Nigeria in the last couple of weeks. Almost all of them preventable if leadership acted decisively given posterity. It breaks the heart. May the dead RIP, may the Lord comfort their families and may we hold those responsible accountable.”

@akindelemartins, ”The explosion on #OtedolaBridge was due to negligence of some people. If the Governor’s convoy was trapped in the inferno yesterday, a law stopping tanker and truck drivers from moving by daylight would have been implemented.”

@Lynn_Ville, ”My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their lives on #OtedolaBridge today. What makes me very sad is that tankers have been warned to only commute at night, why come out during the day??? Some tragic incidents can be avoided.”

@AdebayoAlfred, ”The explosion at #OtedolaBridge was avoidable. In saner climes, disaster is anticipated and proactive measures are taken to avoid them or mitigate their impact. Words fail me but pls know that God is your consolation. Your losses are irreparable but your God will give you peace.”

@jwhitepm, ”Let me get this straight, people died off petrol that we have in abundance but suffer to get and it is the cause of the greed and corruption in the land, when other countries have made their countries world standards off this same petrol. I’m upset. #PrayForNigeria.”
