According to Christchurch Court News, the 32-year-old was granted a registrar's remand on Monday morning, and will appear back in court on November 14.
Schwartz allegedly blew a reading of 473 micrograms of alcohol per litre of while driving on Avalon Street - 73 micrograms over the legal limit for court prosecution.
The incident reportedly occurred on October 28 - the same day the explosive finale of MAFS NZ aired on Three.
In an Instagram post dated October 7, Schwartz captioned a selfie: "I feel like I spend half my life in taxis, better than the back of cop cars I guess."
She has also admitted to physically assaulting a former friend eight years ago at a petrol station.
"It got very heated," she told The Project NZ earlier this year.
"There was some slinging and I ended up pulling her hair - not a fine moment of mine. I wrote her an apology at the time and that still stands.
"I'm still really sorry about it."
Schwartz was paired with 26-year-old apprentice barber Gareth Noble during the reality TV experiment, but the couple called it quits after three weeks together.
