For the second time in two day, the Rivers State police clampdown on 26 lawmakers local to Governor Rotimi Amaechi and prevented them from gaining access to the State House of Assembly complex to perform the duty of lawmaking for the state.
While the Police continuously clamp down on the pro-Amaechi lawmakers, it is providing cover for the 6 anti-Amaechi lawmakers.
The 6 Anti-Ameachi lawmakers were reported to have sneaked into the premises of the Assembly earlier in the morning with the assistance of the police under the authority of Police Commissioner Joseph Mbu.
After the first clampdown on the Pro-Amaechi lawmakers on Thursday, the Police led by Area Commander Ahmed Garba for the second time stopped the lawmakers from accessing the house of Assembly.
