USA: Obama’s Failure Leads to ISIS-Led Massacre in Syria

As our golfer-in-chief’s measly airstrikes have predictably failed to stop ISIS, the 13,000 Kurds now surrounded by the militants on the Syrian city of Kobane are now facing imminent massacre, as all ways to escape or receive reinforcements are now completely blocked.

Surrounded now on three separate fronts, the only hope the Kurds have at this point would be from reinforcements from Turkey. But as of yet, Turkish President Tayipp Erdogan has not stated any intent of assisting the Kurds against fighting ISIS.

Although the Kurds are experienced fighters, they do not have the logistics or weapons that would be necessary to defeat the advancing ISIS ground forces. According to a senior Kurdish official:
“A few days ago, [IS] attacked with a Humvee vehicle, they use mortars, cannons, tanks,” he said. “We don’t need just Kalashnikovs and bullets. We need something effective since they captured many tanks and military vehicles in Iraq.”
As our president continues to golf and vacation, people who actually have a brain and military experience have ideas on what could be done to save the Kurds in Syria. In an interview with IJReview, Green Beret and Delta Force Operator Dale Comstock gave his thoughts:
“Airstrikes aren’t working. And with every victory they are motivating other supporters around the world to join their cause. If we want to save Kobane, then we need boots on the ground. Drop the 82nd Airborne Division in behind their three fronts – envelop them, close within and destroy them to the last man. Time is of the essence, and the fastest and most capable force that we have is the Airborne infantry. One important tenet of infantry maneuvering on an objective is not to lose momentum. These guys are maintaining momentum. We need to put up road blocks with guns and soldiers instead of sprinkling bombs around them. You can break equipment all day long; but, if you don’t stop the shooters you got nothing.”
Although the administration is now conducting air strikes against ISIS, it seems at this point, it is too little too late. If the Syrian city of Kobane falls, you can bet the militant group will continue their bloody siege across the Middle East.
