A 4-year-old boy who got a hold of a loaded gun and shot himself has died.
Family members described Bryson Hernandez as a sweet little boy, who was loved by everyone he met. The family is heartbroken, mourning a child who didn't have to die and asking others to lock away their guns.
They’re calling him Iron Man: A boy who loved the super hero and his family, especially his two little sisters.
Thursday night, Bryson’s family said he'll be buried in his Iron Man costume, living up to his idol, even through his final moments.

Bryson was staying with his grandparents in Cypress when investigators say he got hold of a gun sometime after midnight Tuesday and accidentally shot himself in the head.
One heartbroken neighbor said Bryson had been playing with his own son just a few days earlier.

"It's very unfortunate. I feel very saddened and bad for his family," said Broderick Johnson.
Deputies aren't saying where the gun was being stored in the home. They questioned the grandparents for hours at the scene, until his grandmother collapsed with emotion. A grand jury will decide if any charges should be filed.
Meanwhile, Bryson's family is mourning the little boy who taught his younger sisters how to cross the street and hugged them when they cried. A little boy who now leaves too many tears for even a super hero to wipe away.
In their statement, Bryson's family also urged other gun owners to make sure all weapons are safely locked away and to constantly talk to your kids about gun safety.
