Amy Schumer Catches Liberal Backlash After ‘Body Shaming’ Taylor Swift

In the world of political correctness, ridiculous conversations are taking place about “body shaming.” With college campuses erupting into safe spaces, this generation of special snowflakes are now whining about Amy Schumer’s Instagram pic that they say is a soft dig at Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift posed for photos at the recent Grammys, and Schumer took to Instagram to post a photo, taking a jab at Swift’s “thigh gap.” Schumer ignites a slew of hostile comments about body shaming, and it’s plain political correctness in overdrive. Schumer remains unapologetic, and it’s not the first time she has taken pokes at Swift.
Taylor Swift posed for pictures in one of her designer Grammy outfits. The hot pink skirt was cut open in the middle, revealing her slim thighs, and that was the cause of Schumer’s Instagram post.

Amy Schumer, a comedian and actress known for making fun of skinny celebrities, posted the photo below to Instagram, where it went viral. Schumer’s caption, “Taylor that’s not a thigh gap. This is a thigh gap,” outraged those Swift fans who live in the politically correct world of denying free speech.

Here is a sampling of the comments to Amy Schumer’s Instagram:

“Stop body shaming others. It’s not cool get over people who are skinny,” one Taylor fan wrote.

“You and Taylor along with all women are beautiful. You have always been one to promote body confidence, and instead of teasing other women’s bodies, we should tell them how beautiful they are.”

“You are beautiful. Taylor is beautiful… we all have beauty and we should recognise it instead of shame it,” shared another.

And, “I used to like you because you stand up for us women and didn’t care about body shapes, sizes etc… But you’ve just body shamed Taylor Swift! Quite hypocritical of you I must say and very disappointed.” — via the Mirror

Others didn’t see Schumer’s Instagram as anything but a harmless joke. Fed up with the special snowflakes taking things so seriously, someone else wrote, “Wow. People really can’t take a joke. She’s not bashing anyone, she’s just having a JOKE.”

This is what celebrities do, especially comedians, who make a living by partly parodying their fellow celebs. Taylor Swift is a super successful singer and a certain amount of harmless jokes aren’t on the level of a Kanye West attack.

Schumer, while on Saturday Night Live, made fun of a Taylor Swift video called Bad Blood.

Saturday Night Live is known for parodying celebrities. Taylor Swift herself has hosted Saturday Night Live, and she is not taking offense with Schumer’s Instagram.

Taylor Swift has been on the receiving end of Kanye West’s crazy outbursts. Schumer’s Instagram is not on the level of shaming Swift. If anything, it calls attention to Taylor Swift’s slim figure, which should be seen as flattery.

The special snowflakes want free speech outlawed if it hurts someone’s feelings. It is for this reason we need to call them out on their crazy ramblings and bring some sanity into their delusional world.
