There’s A Dating Website For Everyone, But This New One Is FULL Of Irony

We have the world at our fingertips, and apparently people like to use their knowledge of the Internet to bring each other together. Now, one new dating website is doing just that, if you can handle the massive dose of irony.

Bernie Sanders supporters now have their own online safe space for dating, and no, this isn’t a joke. The website, called Bernie Singles, claims to have been up for only one hour before garnering 1000 members. Now, with the up tick in membership, the website states it must undergo a server upgrade. But wait, there’s more.

Those visiting and wishing for the website to run smoothly are asked to donate to help speed up the process so Bernie Singles can start to mingle. When going to their website, there is no way in yet, so you’ll get this message:

Imagine that — a socialist dating website asking for money to be given voluntarily by donation rather that saying, “Click here so we can tax the rich for your right to date another socialist!”

The irony isn’t lost on everyone, and it gets better. The fact that these people are signing up to date other socialists and decrying capitalism while demanding socialism (by vote of course, because it’s working out for Venezuela) is perhaps the most asinine aspect of their ideology.

The entire Internet and the enterprises it supports, including dating sites, porn, alternate media sites, and social media, are run on supply and demand — the most basic of economic rules that not even socialism can destroy through laws. After all, it just takes a minute to see what even the threat of an increase in gun legislation does to sales of firearms and ammunition.

There are people out there for everyone, and even socialists need capitalism to get their ideas out. The irony is so thick one can’t even cut it with a sword.
