Coastguard and police helicopters join search for missing junior doctor

Police and coastguard are searching for a junior doctor who has not been seen since Friday February 12.
Police helicopters are now looking for Dr Rose Polge, 25, who works at Torbay Hospital in Torquay, Devon,
Her car was discovered in a car park near Ansteys Cove, a shingle beach backed by hillside with thick woodland, at 6pm that day.
PC Pete Giesens, from Devon and Cornwall Police, said: ‘We have a variety of units working hard. The search will carry on indefinitely.’
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘We are extremely concerned for the welfare of Rose and are desperate to locate her.

‘Anyone who has seen Rose or who knows of her whereabouts is asked to call 999 quoting log number 529 for the 12th of February.’
Dr Polge is described as 5ft 2ins tall with brown eyes and long black hair either worn down or in a pony tail.
