Obama’s ‘Kingly’ Trips Just BACKFIRED, This Is Going To Cost Him BIG TIME

We all know that President Barack Obama has acted like royalty, rather than an elected official, since stepping foot in the White House with his lavish vacations being the biggest indicator of such. Unfortunately for him, it looks like all those “kingly” trips just caught up with him – and it’s going to cost him big time.

There aren’t too many Americans fond of the way Obama has been running things, especially in terms of the economy. Despite its abysmal state, our king-wannabe has spent an excessive amount of taxpayer money on himself for the past 7 years.

With his lavish trips to Hawaii and other luxury vacations, it seems that America has finally had enough. As a result, Judicial Watch has officially filed suit against the Department of Homeland Security for ignoring Freedom of Information Act requests and have alleged that Obama’s travel costs exceed $74 million in total.

According to a statement released by Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton:

“Now that we’ve sued, the Secret Service has stopped ignoring our requests for details on more of the costs of Barack Obama’s luxury vacations. Taxpayers, the U.S. Air Force, and the Secret Service are being abused by Barack Obama, who too often treats Air Force One and his security detail like some sort of kingly entourage.”

Further proving the over-the-top and irresponsible spending habits, Judicial Watch states that just two of Obama’s trips totaled over $5 million. BizPac Review reports, “Numbers obtained from Homeland Security’s subsequent response to FOIA requests revealed that the August 2014 Martha’s Vineyard and Christmas 2014 Honolulu vacations cost taxpayers $1,243,057.80 for Secret Service accommodations alone.”

In an effort to twist the knife, Judicial Watch also states that the spending wasn’t just on accommodations, but was used for personal purchases as well. In fact, expenses included $39,575.95 at Paradise Luxury Rentals, $34,827.57 at the Kahala, and $298,218.15 at Cabana Girl LLC. As if all that wasn’t bad enough, further taxpayer dollars were spent as Honolulu Police Department explains they personally incurred $341,000 in overtime costs in order to provide protection for the First Family during their most recent stay.

It’s about time the American people have grown tired enough of these antics to finally do something about it. Not only is the Obama family living like royalty, their efforts to cover up their actions only go to demonstrate that they know what they’re doing is wrong. We all know this nation has a huge problem with freeloaders, but the biggest offenders live right in the White House.
