10 international stars who wore Kiwi labels

After Kesha's stylist came forward to say the singer is "obsessed" with New Zealand designer Kay Goss, Scout takes a look at nine other stars who have worn Kiwi labels.

1. Kate Middleton wore a a £1,760 (NZ$3,650) wool-crepe midi dress by Kiwi designer Emilia Wickstead during her recent trip to India. The royal is a long-time fan of Wickstead's designs, and has worn her clothes on a number of occasions, most notably a teal pleated dress her visit to New Zealand, and a pink pleated dress for the Queen’s garden party at Buckingham Palace in 2012.

2. Kim Kardashian posed for a selfie wearing New Zealand lingerie brand Lonely just weeks ago. She shared the pic with her 68 million followers on Instagram. The bra retails for $115, but exposure like this is priceless for a Kiwi brand.

3. Model Gigi Hadid is another A-list fan of the New Zealand lingerie company. The 21-year-old, who is dating former One Direction star Zayn Malik, posted a selfie wearing a Lonely bra on the set of Calvin Harris' 'How Deep Is Your Love' music video.

4. Taylor Swift wore an outfit designed by Juliette Hogan to Lady Gaga's 30th birthday in West Hollywood last month, including Hogan's 'Fancy' pant (NZ$789) and 'Chelsea' top (NZ$499).

5. Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks stepped out in a Johanna Johnson gown at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards. The Kiwi designer, who is based in Sydney, is facing liquidation.

6. Kiwi stunt woman Zoe Bell turned heads at a red carpet event in Los Angeles earlier last month, wearing a floral jumpsuit from top New Zealand label Miss Crabb. 

7. Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, who plays Hayley Dunphy on the hit sitcom, posed on the cover of Remix magazine wearing a cut-out swimsuit by Kate Sylvester. She took to Twitter to share her excitement.
8. Like Kesha, Lady Gaga is a fan of Kay Goss. The ‘Til it Happens to You’ singer received her Billboard Women of the Year accolade last December dressed in a white Goss suit, and even posted a tweet acknowledging and thanking the Kiwi designer.

9. Lena Dunham joined a long list of A-listers who have worn Karen Walker when she donned this 'Time Machine Fiction' dress in L.A. Rihanna and Madonna have also worn Walker's designs in the past.
