She was spotted partying with Idris Elba shortly before it was revealed he’d split from his partner, but Naomi Campbell has laughed off claims they’re seeing each other.
The supermodel says she ‘loves’ the British actor, but is definitely not romantically involved with him and has no idea why anyone would thing that.
‘I love him as a friend dearly,’ she told US radio show Sway in the Morning.
‘I always will. So that part they got right but they got it in all the wrong context.’

Naomi went on to explain that she’s known the Luther star for years and they regularly hang out together.
‘I don’t know why [people thought we were dating]. Because I’ve known Idris for like for 10 to 15 years, 15 years. And when he takes a picture of me on my fashion events for my charity, no problem there.
‘All of a sudden, bing-bam-boom, we’re a couple. It’s craziness. I mean we are very good friends. I trust him. We have a great friendship.’

Idris, 43, was spotted with Naomi, 45, last month, just days before it was announced that he and Naiyana Garth, the mother of his son Winston, had called it quits after two and a half years together.
He has since admitted that his ‘life turns to sh*t’ when he’s not working, and acting helps him deal with it.
‘I’m going through this b******* now because I’m not on a film set,’ he told Esquire magazine.
‘Had I been on a set I wouldn’t even have noticed. Probably.’
The actor, who has been married twice, also has a daughter named Isan with former wife Hanne ‘Kim’ Norgaard.
