NASA has just released a bunch of satellite images of Earth.
Nearly three million to be more precise.
The photographs have been collected since 1999 by the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer, aka ASTER, a system aboard the Terra satellite.
In the incredible collection, covering nearly 99 per cent of the surface of the Earth, you can discover satellite images of historical monuments, famous landscapes, geological formations, major world cities and even volcanoes and natural disasters.
We’ve included a few of them in this article (sadly we couldn’t upload all three million).
