Kiwi expat Nicola Robinson has married for the second time in an intimate ceremony to My Kitchen Rules judge Pete Evans, but her Christchurch-based parents were unable to make it.

Watson, 39, and Evans, 42, said 'I-do' in front of the celebrity chef's
two young daughters, Chilli, 11 and Indii, nine, best man Trev Hendy and
marriage celebrant Kim Morrison, the wife of former Kiwi cricketer
Danny Morrison. Nicky's horse and pet dogs were also nearby.
The bride and groom, no strangers to cheque book journalism, decided on their wedding date only 10 days earlier, the magazine revealed. Previous plans for a wedding last April were scratched when paparazzi and journalists from publications, presumably not approved of by the couple, were preparing to cover it.
Robinson, formerly known as Nicky Watson, who was married to
multi-millionaire Eric Watson, wed in a family country wedding on the
couple's New South Wales farm with only the couple's blended family and
pets in attendance.

However, Nicky's parents, Don and Gail, were unable to leave their Christchurch home because her father suffers from Alzeimer's.
Pictures of the wedding were splashed over the pages of tabloid magazine Woman's Day in a buy-up, although how much the Bauer publication forked out for the exclusive pictures is unclear.

Nicky, wearing a long
organic cotton kimono-style dress from Aussie label Spell, and a garland
of daisies and ferns in her hair, rode herself to the altar on the back
of her horse, Olly. The two flowergirls were on the horse too.
The couple exchanged bling - she received a silver wedding band; he received a piece of pounamo (he hates rings, apparently).
The
45-minute ceremony was followed by a wedding banquet with oysters,
fish, salads, and fermented coconut milk and homemade kumbucha tea.
