Do we have a hot new couple on our hands? Chris Evans and Elizabeth Olsen have been sparking dating rumors as they have worked together on ‘Captain America,’ and they finally came clean about their relationship status on ‘Ellen.’ Watch their interview and find out right here!
After months of romance rumors, Chris Evans, 34, and Elizabeth Olsen, 27, sat down for a joint interview with Ellen DeGeneres ahead of their movie Captain America: Civil War hitting
theaters. Of course, Ellen couldn’t help but ask them about whether
they’re dating, and surprisingly, Elizabeth and Chris had no problem
telling Ellen whether they’re together!
“Well we’ve been dating for like secretly for the last three years,” Elizabeth tells Ellen after she first addresses the relationship rumors.
While that may have had fans going for a minute, Chris chimed in just
moments later and said, “We kept it so secret we didn’t even tell each
other.” Way to spill the rumor-slamming beans, Chris!
But as bummed as we are to hear that these two (apparently)
aren’t an item, we do have to admit that they went about discussing it
in a pretty hilarious way. They kept bouncing dating jokes off of each
other, convincing fans that they actually do have some pretty undeniable
chemistry…even though they were talking about the fact that they are not together. In fact, even Ellen caught on to how well they get along!
After Elizabeth and Chris playfully denied the dating
rumors, Ellen put them on the spot and told the costars, “But you seem
compatible so…” Although Elizabeth continued the snarky responses by
saying “Maybe we should,” Ellen wasn’t backing down! “I mean you’re both
single,” she told them. “And if they’re saying it maybe somebody sees
something you don’t.”
We can’t help but side with Ellen on this one — how cute
would they be together?! And besides, it’s going to be hard for Chris to
deny that he has a thing for Elizabeth after the Captain America: Civil
War premiere. He was caught staring right at Elizabeth’s boobs!
They may have denied their romance to Ellen, but we certainly wouldn’t
be surprised if they do end up dating in the near future!
