Just like that, Taylor Swift & Beyonce shut it down at the Met Gala! The two posed for the ultimate power couple photo, and it’s what dreams are made of. Here’s what went down.
This picture may have been the best part of the Met Ball on May 2 in NYC. Beyoncé, 34, and Taylor Swift,
26, are the two women who have basically epitomized the hashtag goals
on all of social media. So to say that them posing for a picture
together at the Met Ball is pretty amazing, would be the understatement
of the year. It’s literally what dreams are made of!
In between all the glitz and glam
that is the Met Ball, they proved that there is always time for a quick
picture. With Taylor being one of the co-chair’s of the event, added to
the fact that this was Beyonce’s first red carpet without Jay Z, 46, since the release of Lemonade, it
was a pretty big night for both stars. It’s like the two superstars
knew exactly what the world needed and they made it happen.
Beyoncé and Taylor are two of the biggest
names in music right now, not to mention that them standing together in
that photo is literally a million dollar picture — times 50! These two
are not only extraordinarily talented musicians, but have a huge fortune
between them.
Seeing them stand together in this photo was
not only glamorous, but also a huge statement of femininity and power.
Taylor has been a huge proponent of women backing women and carrying each other to the top, so it’s good to see that the greatest women to ever do it are rooting each other on.
I’m sure that no picture taken at the Met Ball
could have topped this epic masterpiece. So thank you, Taylor and
Beyoncé, for making our dreams come true.
